SALVATION
I was once a little child
Who misbehaves everyday
Who fought and swore
Who scream and shout
And do not even care
One day a boy came to me
Told me about Jesus Christ
But as a gangster I didn’t care
And knock his head until it bleed
To see him in the hospital
Oh what a brave boy he was
After a hand a leg break down
He came to me and made me frown
But to my surprise he didn’t give up
To finally make me go to church
What a nuisance this boy was
To nag at me for the whole day
And on our way to his church
He talked so much I could not stand
And finally I shouted shut up to that poor boy
What a beautiful church it was
Completely made of titanium
An underground hall it had
White light shining everywhere
With words on the wall that touched my heart
A cell group leader came to me
And asked me kindly for my name
Joseph was what I said
And she came to ask of me
To know me more before service
As we stand up to praise God
The whole hall changed to a disco
With blue and pink and yellow lights
Everyone jumping up to sing
And wow was all I could say
After awhile worship came
Everyone lift their hands and say
A heavenly language that I cant tell
What they all were speaking
So I just lift my hands up to get ready
The song of worship touched my heart
When I heard it tears fell down
The lyrics on it shows God’s love
It melted my heart so deep
That Lord You showed me what I need
A short word was being sent to me
To tell me how Christ died for me
And 3 days later He rose again
He stayed on earth for a while
To call everyone to spread His love
And now pastor comes to us
And ask us who wants Jesus
I rose up high with hands held up
Saying ‘Yes Jesus I want you!
He is all the things I need’
As I walked down along the awe
Everyone clapped loudly for me
And happy was the only thing
My mind had been telling me
For today was the day I know Him
After knowing God I changed
The friends in church improved me
To be a better person from that day
So that one day I can be
A person whom God can use much more
Five years later I transform
Into a person who leads others
And as I come to share my past
Everyone was touched and wants to know
How I managed to change so much
Many old friends came to me
They were people who used to be
Fighting with gangs side by side
But now they found a new friend
Who is here to set them free
